January 2009: MIDEM finalist

Bizarrie Armoniche, sister-ensemble of IGA, was a finalist for the MIDEM classical award 2009 in the category Baroque Music for their recording of Biber's Rosary Sonatas, but eventually lost to Philippe Jaroussky's Carestini-CD. More info here.

January 2009: new release

Il Giardino Armonico has released a new recording on the L'Oiseau Lyre label (Decca): G. F. Handel's Concerti Grossi op. 6 (3cds). Excerpts from the CD can be found here.

May 2008: new releases

Bizzarrie Armoniche has released a new cd: the Rosenkranz sonatas by Biber (for more info see below "new & upcoming releases").

Two works performed by Il Giardino Armonico at the recent Trigonale have been released on cd (again: for more info see below)

Il Giardino Armonico has joined the famous (and recently revived) early music label L'Oiseau Lyre (Decca):

The complete recordings (11CDs) IGA made for Teldec (now Warner) will be re-released in a box set through the German online CD shop JPC for only €41,99. More info here.
